PAST
Tri-Metal Industries was incorporated in 1960 by three original partners, thus the “TRI” in Tri-Metal. We grew from a small garage shop operation into our present 33,000 square foot building and 40 full time employees over the last 4 decades. Our initial specialty was small quantity prototypes for the communication industries. We still embrace this type of work, however, we are now more keyed up for larger production orders.
We are now a second generation family business since Don & Doug Chatwin bought out the last surviving partner (and our father) Donald Chatwin Sr. Don Sr. passed away in 2006.
PRESENT
Today, Tri-Metal Industries has over 100 customers and generates annual sales of over 4 million dollars. We specialize in complex electronic chassis work in various metal alloys. Our very talented professional staff is willing to help you design or re-design your sheet metal fabrications. If your part is stable and not requiring any changes, we will fabricate it to your blue print with the finest quality at very reasonable prices.
FUTURE
Tri-Metal Industries will continue to advance by incorporating the latest sheet metal technologies. We continually reinvest profits back into the business by adding newer, state of the art equipment. We are currently working on an apprentice program to insure a skilled labor pool for the future.
